Senesino (1705-1752 was a castrato singer most famous for his long collaboration with Georg Friedrich Händel. The roles of the heroes in Händel's Poro, Ezio, Sosarme und Lucio Papirio were composed for him. He sang the male heroic parts in Floridante, Ottone und Flavio, Giulio Cesare, Andronico in Tamerlano, Bertarido in Rodelinda and Radamisto. [1]
