Grandson of the poet and librettist Antonio Palomba, he was active in Naples, where he may have been born, between 1765 and 1825. He wrote more than 300 libretti that were set to music by Domenico Cimarosa, Giovanni Paisiello, Valentino Fioravanti and others.[1][2]
