"Esiliatevi pene funeste" is an aria from the oratorio La Vanità del Mondo by Pietro Torri. The CD La Vanità del Mondo names Carlo Francesco Melchiori as the librettist[2]. The autograph at the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek does not credit any.

The first performance in Brussels took place in 1706 in French; the mentioned score is possibly from a Munich performance after 1715.[1]

Piacere (Engl.: Pleasure) is an anthropomorphic personification, joined by Anima (the Soul), Grazia (Grace) and il Mondo (the World).

Italy
Ancient Italian

Esiliatevi pene funeste
Ite lungi tempeste frementi

Voi dolci Contenti correte volate
su l'alma versate di gioia i torrenti.*

Source: Autograph Munich, 1715 or later[1]
*)The available autograph clearly says "tormenti".
It was changed to "torrenti" in the booklet[2].
It seems to make more sense than
"torments of joy".

Italy
Modernized Italian

Voi, dolci contenti, correte, volate
Su l'alma versate di gioia i torrenti!*

Be banished, gloomy sorrows,
Away with you, fretful storms.

You, sweet delights, hurry and fly
On the soul pour torrents of joy.[3]
