Bernardo Sandrinelli was an Italian poet. He wrote many libretti for the works performed at the Ospedale della Pietа and other locations in Venice.
Antonio Caldara used at least two librettos by or with the contribution of Bernardo Sandrinelli: Il ricco Epulone (recounting the parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus[1] and Maddalena ai piedi di Cristo, an allegory around Mary Magdalene and the battle between earthly and heavenly love. The latter was reworked from an existing libretto by Lodovico Forni.
