Antonio Innocenzo Ottoboni (Venice, June 20, 1646 - Rome, February 19, 1720) was an Italian nobleman and general. Grandson of Pope Alexander VIII, he was appointed by him as prince and general of the papal army. He was the father of Cardinal Pietro Ottoboni and half-brother of Marco Ottoboni, I Duke of Fiano.[1]

He was passionate for music and poetry. His arcadian name was "Eneto Ereo"; among his best-known works are La Giuditta und Cain overo Il primo omicidio, both set to music by Alessandro Scarlatti.
