Johann Christian Bach (nickname Christian Bach,[1] * 5 September 1735 in Leipzig; † 1 January 1782 in London) was a German pre-classical composer from the Bach family who is known as the Milan Bach or London Bach. He was described as an unrecognised genius and the ‘father and inventor’ of Viennese Classicism.[2] He had a great influence on the style of the young Mozart in particular. (Source: Wikipedia)[2]
