Louis d'Hervelois de Caix, publishing under the name Louis de Caix d'Hervelois (* 1680 in Ainval (near Amiens); † October 18, 1759 in Paris) was a French gambist and composer.

He was most likely a pupil of Marin Marais. Between 1710 and 1751, he wrote several collections for viola da gamba and two collections for transverse flute, most of which are transcriptions of his viol pieces (including la marche du Czar).[1]
